STLR publishes pieces dealing with the legal issues surrounding science and technology, including the Internet, biotechnology, nanotechnology, and telecommunications law. STLR publishes twice a year and is ranked third among all tech law journals in Washington and Lee Law Library‚Äôs “Impact Factor” ranking. Most STLR staff members have a technical or scientific background, most commonly as undergrads, and some have PhDs or work experience in relevant fields.

Academic Commons is a growing digital repository in which the Columbia community can make available past work and timely results of ongoing research. Contact Sarah Holsted, Digital Repository Coordinator, at sholsted@columbia.edu for more information on how you can deposit your research.
